Advancing technologies and changing customer demands are disrupting the environment of many firms nowadays, including the domain of industrial manufacturing. Cross-industry platforms increasingly emerge to assist firms in their approach to manage radical innovation by opening their innovation processes and seeking external knowledge from distant industries.
