Atlas for University Architecture. Spectacular New Buildings, Innovative Work Arrangements, and new Addressing Schemes
Description of the project:
The project aims for creating a critical, illustrated compendium of recent university architectures in the Bologna region. The publication will focus on about 20 buildings and relate them to theoretical considerations of contemporary education processes. Thus, the publication will not only analyze to which extend these buildings invite, facilitate and initiate certain educational practices as well as certain social forms of study, but it will map which new forms of learning and teaching can be identified here?
The aim is to present recent concepts to a broader public and decision-makers, and to prepare them to interpret university buildings as expressions of specific educational approaches.
