Working Utopias

Projektbeschreibung:
Working Utopias researches artist‐run organizations to examine collaboration under conditions of highly individualized work. It thereby aims at re‐examine modes of operation and subjectivities of artists with regard to their social rather than individual dimension. Reexamining artists’ ways of organizing their work‐lives also seeks to negotiate the potential of these organizing practices for developing utopian imaginaries based upon solidarity that could become widely adopted by a wider audience of cultural workers.
