The influence of a fair process on the performance of M&A transactions in knowledge-intensive public companies - evidence from the software manufacturing industry

The overall goal of this research project is to examine the question if the application of fair process principles improves the performance of M&A transactions. Besides a contribution towards the advancement of fair process and M&A performance theory, empirical evidence from the software manufacturing industry will be delivered to support and underscore theoretical results.
