Influence of Participation of Private Equity Firms in Family Firms in Spain and Germany

Projektbeschreibung:
The aim of the project is to investigate to what extent the specific characteristics of family businesses cause a higher or lower performance when compared to other investee firms without family-related control. A comparison with a quantitative database of investments in Spain and Germany is considered as well as different endogenous and exogenous variables, exerting performance differences, e.g. stage of development.
