The concept of near-natural water balances in urban water management - long-term impacts on groundwater recharge, evapotranspiration and runoff generation
Description of the project:
The object of this research project is to quantify the space/time variability of urban water balance components and the role of green storm water management for the partition between the different components with a special focus on the long-term effects of permeable and semi-permeable surfaces on groundwater recharge, evapotranspiration and runoff generation in urban environments.
