Closing knowledge gaps by adaptive support of reflective writing (Part of the cluster "Adaptable and adaptive multimedia systems", 4 sub-projects)
Projektbeschreibung:
On the basis of own prior research on prompts for processing multiple representations and our self-regulation approach to writing learning journals, we develop and test an adaptive instructional procedure that poses learners reflective writing tasks. Such writing should engage the learners in cognitive and metacognitive strategies with the goal to close their knowledge gaps during multimedia learning and to enhance overall learning outcomes.
