Lokale syntaktische Kohärenzen sind Phrasen oder Sätze, die durch ihre Einbettung in einen globalen Satzkontext als solche nicht erkannt werden sollten.
Der empirische Beleg der Verarbeitung von lokalen Kohärenzen spräche für eine probablisitsche Verarbeitung im Sinne rekurrenter neuronaler Netze. Im Projekt werden Lesestudien und das Visual-World-Paradigma unter Verwendung von Blickbewegungsmessung eingesetzt.
