Since 2008: Assistant lecturer at the Department of Forest Biometry, University of Freiburg. 2006–2008: Assistant at the Institute of Plant Sciences, University of Bern, Switzerland. 2005–2006: Postdoc at Department of Forest Biometry, University of Freiburg, Germany. 2001–2005: Ph.D.-student at University of Bern, Switzerland (Dr. phil.-nat.). 1999–2000: Research assistant at the Forest Research Institute in Freiburg, Germany. 1991–1998: Studies of forestry science at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (academic degree Diplom-Forstwirt).
