Forschungsschwerpunkte

  • Prof. J. S. Briggs und HD Dr. W. Strunz: The Research of the Group is in the broad area of the quantum dynamics of few- and many-body systems predominantly but not exclusively concerning atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics. A variety of classical, semi-classical and full quantum-mechanical theoretical methods are employed with the aim of achieving a fundamental understanding of the structure, interaction, fragmentation and interaction with external fields of atoms, molecules, clusters and related particle assemblies e.g. atoms in traps and ions in beams.
