Climate Change and Public Health - Challenges for Public Health

The focus in this research area is directed towards the knowledge both social and health schiences can contribute to face the challenges of climate change to (pubilc) health. Moreover the investigation of mitigation and adaptation strategies will be a crucial part of research. Lust but not least the question needs to be answered which role public health schiences can and must play in monitoring the processes und contributing scientifically based solutions.
